Introduction

Quizzes are versatile and can be set up as ice breakers, to assess learning, for revision or for pure leisurely fun. The best part is that, once set up, quizzes can be used again and again and results are automatically added to a student's Moodle gradebook.

There are two parts to building Quizzes in Moodle:

1. Setting up essential quiz parameters, such as timing and grades
2. Creating and selecting the questions for a quiz

The final stage of this section will deal with Students' Attempts and Quiz Results.
